So there is snow in England! Three months in our new country passed like a week, we even didn’t notice winter come and go, but we did notice the total absence of snow! Which is quite a shame, considering our previous expatriation country… But! Thanks to our new friends who have a fantastic advantage – being locals told us where to find some snow :) Roseberry Topping!
What’s that?
Roseberry Topping is a marvellous hike for lazies in this huge park North York Moors! A great oportunity to fetch your walking boots still shining with their last-year-dried-dirt and to do it: to climb these unbelievable 300 meters: several steps up and you are in a stunning winter fairy-tale.

This majestic top…

These tiny dots are the sheep, who are definitely not disturbed by the snow!

Hi there!
I think normally there is a gorgeous view on gorgeous Middlesbrough, but not this time.

Just like in Samuel Beckett’s novels: The sun was slightly sick.

Coming back to the strange mixture of March and late November. But I ADORE England’s enchanted forests.

Well, the fairy-tale is over, the boots are covered with a fresh layer of dirt, everyone’s happy, who wants a cuppa? :)
Goodbye, winter and don’t bother to keep in touch till the next January!
