Hello and welcome to what used to be a classic travel blog with guides, lists and itineraries.

As years went by, we, Xavier and Valeria, both realized that it is not our cup of tea anymore. Our vision of travel changed, while the struggle in the world of blogging as well as our constant frustration due to lagging behind on the articles schedule, grew more tiresome.

Thus, we decided to put an end to Independent People in its previous format and create something new from its ashes.

From now on, it will be nothing more than a photography journal, which will bring this blog closer to the idea of a virtual travel photo album we had in mind all along. With some impressions, maybe addresses once in a while – more for our personal use, but if you find them helpful – so much the better!

We keep experimenting and, hopefully, progressing with our photography, and we want it to be documented here as well as on our Instagram page, where we will be also very happy to see you. All the old posts and articles will stay here as little souvenirs of our blogging past.
