When talking about South of France to a foreigner, the first association would be definitely lavender fields, Cannes festival, Nice and similar paradisiaque spots on the Côte d’Azur. Provence and Co in one word. However, there is South-East of France and then there is South-West of France, and two of them don’t necessarily have much in common. It’s time to throw some light on another South of France, gorgeous and authentic, with Atlantic touch and lavender free.
The list is not definite, as we keep coming back to Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine to visit family, and there are still so many things to explore. Gladly, we are not in a hurry. :) Welcome to Sud-Ouest!
